Yesterday I managed to catch up with natural bodybuilding guru Sean Nalewanyj. Sean is the author of the best-selling muscle building program “The Truth About Building Muscle” and he has a lot of great insight into training, nutrition, and more. He shared his thoughts with us in the first “expert interview”. Click here to read the full Sean Nalewanyj interview.

One of the most common questions I receive in my inbox these days is “how often should I change my workout?”
Even if you’re not big into the pro bodybuilding scene, you’ve probably heard of Ronnie Coleman. The big Texan is an 8-time Mr. Olympia, tying Lee Haney’s all-time record. He’s basically the modern Arnold Schwarzenegger (only way bigger).
And Ronnie Coleman has a movie. It’s entitled “Unbelievable”, and even though it’s quite old now I feel it necessary to mention it in the blog. If you haven’t seen it, you must. (more…)
One of my favourite “muscle building bloggers”, JP Clifford, recently posted about an “ultra-buff bull” who was able to build extraordinary amounts of muscle. The bull built this grotesque muscle mass because scientists were able to “turn off” the gene that produces myostatin, a compound that inhibits muscle growth in the human body.

Of course, supplement companies have been selling so-called ”myostatin inhibitors” for several years now, feeding off news stories such as this one. The truth, however, is that these supplements are a fraud. Read my myostatin inhibitor review to see the scientific research on why myostatin inhibitors are a complete joke.
To learn more about the legitimate research being undertaken on myostatin, view the original Boston Globe article on the “ultra-buff bull“.
