Recently,
all the buzz in the muscle building
community has been about essential
fatty acids. They've been scientifically
shown to do a whole bunch of good
things, including helping to prevent
muscle degeneration, block the
storage of fat, and act as an
anti-inflammatory.
Omega-3 fatty
acids, which are the most common
portion of EFA supplements, can
even help in cholesterol reduction.
So far, studies have shown that
EFA's are good for just about
every application, including general
health, muscle building, and fat
loss.
EFA's,
which are typically either fish
or flax oils, come in either capsules
or liquid form. Initially, capsules
may appear to be the more cost-effective
method, but consider that it takes
about 10 pills to equal one teaspoon
of the liquid EFA. For that reason,
the top EFA supplement available
has to be PFO
Pure Fish Oil.
If you
want to go for the pill approach
- and I reccomend taking several
pills a day, if you're serious
about your weight training - try
either NOW
Super Omega 3-6-9 or Labrada
EFA Lean Gold.
Simply
put, you must give EFA's a try
if you're at all interested in
improving your general health
or muscle building/fat loss regime...
