  » Editor Review:ZMA

ZMA is a scientifically designed anabolic mineral formula. It contains Zinc Monomethionine Aspartate plus Magnesium Aspartate and vitamin B-6. It is a natural substance, and it is supposed to enhance strength and general athletic performance. This claim is based on the theory that athletes, including weight lifters and bodybuilders, lack both zinc and magnesium due to the severe physical stress their bodies are under.

Although a few studies have confirmed these claims, the results have been spotty across the board, which is why ZMA received only a three out of five star rating. That being said, ZMA is a natural substance that has proven completely safe to date.

A further benefit to ZMA is that it seems to improve the ease and quality of sleep. For this reason, ZMA is certainly worth a try. All ZMA seems to be similar in quality, so try either NOW ZMA or Higher Power ZMA.
